Easy Tricks That Will Help You Easily Download Videos Online

As the internet becomes more and more popular, video-sharing sites like YouTube are becoming quite popular. This is because uploading content on websites like these are free of charge. However, people want to save these shared videos for future reference since they can’t be available at all times due to file size or storage limitations on some devices. Luckily, an easy trick will help you download any online video with just a few clicks.

You can use various applications out there to do so. Still, some of them may not give the user what he wants – which is the possibility of downloading your favorite videos without needing an excessive amount of time or system resources. It takes some time for users to download videos, so we’ve decided to make a list of easy tricks that will help you easily download videos online.

Using a Software

The simplest and most efficient way to download videos is to use software to manage the entire process. Several applications can do just that, but you can use one in particular: VDownloader. This is a reliable software that supports multiple platforms, and it allows you to download online videos from YouTube, DailyMotion, or MetaCafe. To get started, visit the application’s official website – vdownloader.com – and download the package according to your computer’s operating system.

Then run it on your PC, link VDownloader with one of these three websites by entering your user credentials, choose which video you want to download, and click ‘Download.’ That’s all there is to do.

Using a Browser Add-On

Now, if you don’t want to download an entire application and prefer the simple way, you can use FlashGot. This add-on works pretty much like VDownloader – it uses its server and doesn’t require any downloads. All that’s needed is for you to install this add-on on your browser (it supports Firefox and Chrome) and afterward search for the video you want to be downloaded.

As soon as the page with the video loads up, click on ‘FlashGot’ in your browser bar and choose one of these three download options: Direct download, RapidShare, or YouTube. This should allow you to get started downloading videos online without needing too many instructions about doing it. Just keep in mind that if the video you’re downloading is too large, it might take some time for you to get your files. That’s why it’s recommended to use reliable software since it will do all of the work for you and deliver the results with the minimum effort required from your side.

Using Proxy Servers

Using Proxy Servers

All that has to be done is install ProxyCap on your computer (compatible with both Windows and Mac) and run it after installation. Then choose ‘Proxy Server’ from the connection menu and enter the address of one of these free video proxy servers: HD Video Proxies or Free Video Proxy. After entering all of the required information:

  • Right-click the video you want to download, choose ‘Copy video URL at the current tab,’ and paste it in your browser’s address bar. If you’re downloading a YouTube video, then there should be no problem whatsoever – if not, however, then do the following: Open ProxyCap again, select ‘Web browsing’ from the connection menu, and click on ‘New proxy configuration.’
  • Enter www.youtube.com under ‘Proxy server,’ check the box next to ‘Connections’ and press OK.
  • Try downloading videos online using this method by right-clicking them and choosing FlashGot or any similar application that allows easy downloads of data from websites.

Using ClipConverter

All that needs to be done is visit ClipConverter, load the page containing the video you want to download and choose from one of these three options: ‘Flash Video FLV Download’ and ‘Download Video as MP4’ or ‘MP3 Music’. Next, right-click on the button with the chosen option/s and select Copy Link Location. After that, open a new tab in your browser and paste the link somewhere under any of these headings:

  • YouTube Videos,
  • MP3 Downloads or
  • MP4 Downloads and click OK.

Now it’s time to choose one of these links (you can also use all three at once) and copy it into your clipboard. Enter the name of the video, select a download quality and let the magic happen. Click again anywhere on the page (the entire content should disappear) and paste the link that you’ve copied afterward into your browser’s address bar.

All you need is to use one of these reliable tools or alternatives – they work on any computer and allow for easy downloads from some of the most popular websites on Earth. That way, you can easily download videos online without spending a lot of time doing it. Don’t worry if this seems too complicated at first because it will be as simple as ABC after some practice.
